What the full version unlocks

• Emergency PIN

  Looks like a normal unlock, but silently deletes all data at once – for example if someone forces you to enter your PIN.

• Wipe after 5 wrong PINs

  After the fifth failed attempt all data is deleted. Without the full version there are only waiting times.

• Remote wipe

  When you wipe, the contacts currently connected are informed; your chat appears reset on their side.

• Maximum anonymity (Tor only)

  Never a direct connection: nobody sees your IP address, not even your contacts. Calls are voice only over Tor.

• Seal mode

  End-to-end encrypt texts, pictures, voice messages and files for WhatsApp and others – with its own vault and passphrase, without history. Your contacts don't need the full version to decrypt.

• Start group calls

  Call several contacts at once, each over its own encrypted peer-to-peer connection. Joining a group call is free for everyone.

• 21 design themes

  Dark, light, business and the playful "Malachi Artwork" – all checked for good readability (WCAG AA), with a matching app icon.

• Allow screenshots

  Screen protection is on for everyone. With the full version you can switch it off, for example for your own screenshots – Secret Chat and Seal always stay protected.

How to buy

You buy in the Malachi shop. It is only reachable as an onion service over Tor and needs no account and no JavaScript. You pay with Monero (XMR) or Bitcoin (BTC); the shop shows which methods are currently available when you order.

Easiest: right in the app

1. In Malachi, open Settings → Full version and start the purchase. The app talks to the shop over Tor itself.
2. Pay the amount shown to the address shown (scan the QR code with your wallet).
3. Write the recovery code down on paper right away – the shop shows it only once.
4. After confirmation on the network, the app unlocks the full version.

Alternatively: in the Tor Browser

1. In Malachi, copy your device code under Settings → Full version.
2. Open the shop in the Tor Browser: 42bajzhrmwmi2hlmohje7nloyp3zbxzpzk4atcgt4cesogatnvbxn5ad.onion
3. Paste the device code, pay, write down the recovery code.
4. Enter the license proof (text or QR code) in the app.

What the shop learns

• A device code the license is bound to – no contacts, no messages, no phone number, no name.
• No IP address: the shop is only reachable over Tor.
• The payment itself is recorded on the respective blockchain, as with any cryptocurrency. With Monero, sender and amount are not publicly visible there; with Bitcoin they are.

To be honest: the license is not copy protection. The app checks it offline using a digital signature.
